Stories are what change people. Not facts. Facts can deliver only truth and as we all know, the truth can be too easily ignored. Stories deliver meaning. That is where our power lies

We are not starting a theater company. That isn’t what this is.

Right now, we are simply looking to connect with other storytellers who are interested in using theater as a form of resistance..

Right now, we will gather occasionally, step in front of the group and share our resistance. In any form. Stories, poems, songs, plays, readings, short films, dances or card tricks.

Right now, we create theater of resistance for us. Because we must do something and this is all we know how to do.

Right now, we know that nothing we do can actually make a difference. But we do it anyway.

Perhaps together we can build a national theater of resistance and use stories to show people the change we one day hope to live in.
